I am so frustrated and have been having such a crappy last 2 weeks. I am having a flare-up with severe migraine, nausea, ibs, pain in my entire back, neck pain, pain and buring in my abdomen/pelvis, numbness and tingling in my legs, arms, hands, feet. Extreme fatigue......you know, the kind where your arms and legs feel like they have cement in them and your body just will not move because as much as you WANT to you just physically do not have the energy. My eyes are super sensitive

Hi Jackie,
I can understand your frustration! How can a doctor give that kind of advise when you haven't lived with the daily struggles of dealing with fibromyalgia. Me too I've been on Cymbalta for about 2 years now. I've gone up and down with different dosages. I started initially with 20mg with hesitation of trying to hold off on taking any medication. Increased to 30mg 2xday then to 30mg and 60mg daily. I've managed to go down to 30mg 2xday now. I've had struggles dealing with this. But definitely do not give up hope. It is definitely frustrating when a doctor gives that kind of advise. With me personally PT, massage therapy and acupuncture has helped me. I've done detox and that has helped to manage my symptoms and decreased some of the medications I was on. Hope this is of help to you. Take care.
Be very careful about getting off Cymbalta. Go very very slow. I thought I was slow enough but wound up feeling like I had the flu for over a week. Hope you find something that works for you.
Oh my god you have just discrape the same thing that im going through but know one undetstand me cause they dont see the pain or the fatigue etc. I cant count not even with my family. Hope the best for you and my god bless all with fibro. ππΌππΌππ
Sometimes you can get relief with certain things like acupuncture, magnesium etc. But you also will feel wonderful if you get a prescription for Adderal it will really help with that exhaustion and it clears your brain so you can think more clearly, and clean your house, do laundry, enjoy hobbies again. I've been taking it for over a decade and now and their starting to prescribe it for Fibro patients. Massage therapy is wonderful even if a family member or friend does it. I use Ben Gay and a wooden massager with the balls so they can really put pressure on the spasms and trigger spots.Ive also learned to use a tennis ball against the wall and your back and press it over the spasms rolling it around. Hope this helps.
I have all the symptoms you have except migraines and I take a high quality, high potency CBD oil isolate.( pure cannibidiol). It works as well as a narcotic without the side effects.. yes it is expensive but prices should eventually come down. It doesnβt help the fibro fog or fatigue, unfortunately.. hope you fund something that works for you..
