Members offered encouragement and practical advice to someone hoping to conceive while managing fibromyalgia, with many sharing that ovulation tracking strips from budget stores and folic acid supplements can help, while cautioning that it often takes several months for the body to regulate after stopping birth control. Several members shared their own pregnancy experiences with fibromyalgia, with some reporting that symptoms surprisingly disappeared during pregnancy only to return months after delivery, while others experienced increased pain and migraines during flares but still had positive overall outcomes. A recurring theme was the emotional complexity of balancing personal health concerns with family desires, met with understanding from the community that each person must weigh their own priorities while being patient and kind to their body during the conception journey.

My sisters and moms autoimmune stuff kicked back when they were pregnant. It has something to do with the increase in estridol. My natropath is going to put me on the bio identical form to see if that helps me. There have been a few woman on here who also had there fibro symptoms go away. I am hoping that is the same case for you. I think it will take a few months to get your body back on track from being off the bc pills. Again, you do have fibro so your body is more stressed and as you know stress impacts getting pregnant at times.

Wishing you all the best ! It takes time for your body to adjust to not being on the pill. I know it seems like a long time since October.
Back in my early 20s I went off the pill for health reasons. Funny thing is doc put me on it for health reasons , ie bad periods. Any way long story short , I went through a false pregnancy as a result of my body trying to adjust.
I knew I wasn't pregnant , no way I could be , but no period for months .
Fibro can cause irregular periods and other "female" related issues with the female organs. It will happen when you least expect it.... ahhh no pun intended there. Love and hugs
