Doctor Forms-fibromyalgia

I received some forms yesterday from a doctor's office in my area. Under illnesses I actually saw a box to check off if you have fibromyaglia. My mouth literally dropped. I was so shocked. I have never seen this on any doctor form./ I been sick since the late 80ties and early 90ties and was officially dx with IC in 1999 and with fibro 2000. Is this new to anyone else? I'm glad to see the medical community is finally waking up to the fact we are struggling with this disease. I think I would have fainted to see a box you could check off for fibromyalgia.....lol.....thanks for sharing this with us! Linda

There was one on my Neuro’s checklist of symptoms! They seem to know it as well can be quite complex.

Yes, I have seen it, but sometimes I'm scared to put fibro. I worry that they may say that my pain "is just" fibromyalgia and won't treat the pain.
