I just had an "aha" moment today - I have a membership in Ancestry and recently had my DNA done and found a list of approximately 1000 "cousins" - most distant - that I had no idea existed. I felt led to contact one lady who knew about nothing on one side of her family. Turns out I had a lot of info on her great-grandfather (brother to my maternal grandfather). It was a divorce situation, and her side of the family had no idea he had lived a long life. We are assuming the great-grandmother told her son that his dad died when he was a young toddler, when actually it was a divorce situation and "my" side of the family had completely lost touch with the divorced wife and child probably 70 years ago. I even found an old pic showing him as an elderly man to send to her. I felt good that I was able to add to her genealogy information and found a new "cousin" for me to get to know!
My sweet 17 year old daughter.
Playing with gradsons Noah and Riley. Nothing better than a 3 year old saying i love you nanny and 1 year old hugging and asking for kisses πππ₯°
spending time at my aunty care home and cheering everyone up as well as staff with story and jokes and just in general.

What made me smile today was seeing my husband happy and looking forward to our future together. Even if it means taking a job somewhere he do not want to live in so that we have a home for us and our fur babies/
