Vibrating
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does anyone get internal vibrating sensations? This morning my left thigh has been vibrating on and off, both thighs are aching. My left calf had muscle twitching/fasculations this morning :(

I get the internal vibrations often. I also have like a low humming to my body as well. And I have muscle twitches that have been ongoing for 6 months now. Saw a neurologist had all the right tests, and have been cleared. Just fibro and Centralized sensitization syndrome.

Hello, I’m sorry to say I don’t know the name of the medication. When she said that I just said no thank you. I thought oh boy I don’t want that. I may have to someday, but not now. I do take a muscle relaxer at night. 12mg of Zanaflex. That’s the only thing that relaxes my body so I can rest some. I tried Lyrica but couldn’t take it. It made me extremely depressed and my mouth swelled. The same thing with Cymbalta and Gabapanten. I also take 100mg of Pamelor at night. It’s a antidepressant with nerve pain benefits. My pain management doctor just put me on Belbuca. It’s a long acting pain medication that seems to be helping. I pray it continues to work.

Good luck with your upcoming visit. I would like to know what they say if you don’t mind. Sending gentle hugs your way.

Hello my name is Pam.
I have this as well. Mine is in both legs, I often ask my husband if he can feel it when it’s really bad, but he can’t. Mine is related to my back, at least that’s what my neurologist says. She said I have to live with it, or take a seizures. I would have to be on it for the remainder of my life. I respectfully declined. If it gets to painful I guess I might. I take so much medication already I don’t want to add another. I have muscle spasms as well and I take Zanaflex ( a muscle relaxer) every night to tame the spasms. My back is destroyed, I have had multiple surgeries and it’s still a mess.

Anyway, I know that the internal vibration can be related to a lower back issue. Do you have lower back problems? I’m interested to hear if anyone who does not have back problems experiences this. With Fibromyalgia our entire bodies seam to misfire.

Praying you get some relief and some answers soon. Sending warm gentle hugs your way.
