Has Anyone Heard Of TMS- Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation? I Saw It On An Episode Of Dr Phil Today..

It was an episode on OCD but its also used for Bipolar and Chronic pain among other things. Our brains are basically short circuiting (in my opinion). Just had a thought... I wonder if it could restore "balance". It showed how it returns the brain to a "normal" state. Some may say its too radical; maybe but so is this ride on the fibro train.

Yes, very new. Take it with a grain of salt. Expensive and I haven't seen any conclusive papers being written on the subject. Have had Fibro pain for almost 40 years now. I'm not too convinced yet.

I'll check it out. I wonder if it's the same entryway used in TCD (trans cranial Doppler) that we did in neurology which is basically an ultrasound of vetebral and arterial structures in the brain. Hmmm...

Know nothing about it, I am also very leery of anything that involves electrical shocks to the human brain
