A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Lately everytime Fibro flares I get non epileptic seizures. Doctors arent too concerned. But I was wondering if anyone has this link too? And what your symptoms are?

@A MyFibroTeam Member try to get a in stay EEG or a ambulatory 3 day EEG at home. Most of my abnormal brain activity is when I am asleep. Whicb was not found when i did a quick 1 hour EEG

I have been having seizures symptoms, recently had an eeg which showed normal but my body feels otherwise. I go back for a follow up with my neuro and hoping for some answers.

I had one seizure in the beginning stages of my fibro. This was before I was on a fibro cocktail that now includes a seizure medication. I have not had one since my current treatments began.

I had seizures in the past. No Doctor could determine why. I think it was related to hormones as since I am now post menopause I seem fine. When I was younger it was blamed on birth control pills, then I also had fibroids and endometriosis, all of which affect hormones.
