I am having a lot of pain and migrains lately. I have been off work for 3 weeks and am considering trying the smoke for pain. I currently take gabipenton, meloxicam, norco as needed, amatriptolyn at night. Anyone recommend the smoke instead?

CBD is what helps with fibro pain and the highest amounts of it are naturally found in hemp. There are NO hallucinogens in it! Marijuana has been made to have higher and higher amounts of THC in recent years. This is the hallucinogen!. There was one brand "Charlotte's Web" that was created for children with seizures that has a tiny amount of THC. Strava Coffee is infused with CBD and you can get it in varying amounts and caffeinated or decaf. NOT expensive and a scoop added to your coffee brew will take the 'fibro edge' off for 2-3 hours. You can order it online and then have it delivered to your door. They often offer discounts. I don't take any medications for fibro and have had it over 25 years. I use heat, rest and my 'craft coffee' when I am having a flare. I found other CBD or Marijuana products to be cost prohibitive. I bought one CBD oil spray for sublingual delivery and the taste was horrible. The coffee tastes good. I hope you find this helpful

I smoke marijuana everyday, all day. I start of with some Cannatonic (13% CBD) in the morning, and increase the THC % throughout the day.
Boaty McBoatface @ 2.33%THC and 7.11% CBD, Sativa Strain.
Mango CBD Haze @ 8% THC and 8% CBD, Sativa Strain.
Super Lemon Haze @ 16% THC, 0.3% CBD, Sativa Strain.
Ghost Train Haze @ 18.2% THC, 0.28 CBD, Sativa Strain
Blue Dream @ 22.6% THC, 0.18% CBD, Sativa Strain.
I may add some Cannatonic to the above to raise the CBD levels.
Lastly at bedtime I smoke some Bakerstreet. Bakerstreet is an Indica Strain @ 14.9% THC, 0.07% CBD.
I use a Bong when I’m at home and joints when I’m out and about.
Flower/Bud is the cheapest and fastest way to get relief. Typical relief is around 1.5 -3 hours, then you’ll need to smoke some more.
Oil and edibles are expensive and can take up to 2 hours to get relief, but may last for up to 4-6 hours, depending on dosage.
Expect to get the munchies. Pre make some healthy snacks before medicating, because slicing and dicing while high is not recommended.
Everything is more enjoyable after smoking some THC Sativa Strains, music, TV and food tastes amazing!

I tried it but it made absolutely no difference to my pain and actually left me with a head ache in the mornings after trying to use it to aid sleep. I persisted for about a week because every one said it couldn't give me a headache but it was like having a hangover so I haven't touched it since.

I have tried it and the cbd oil prescription with less thc works best for pain and sleep. The oils work better for me than smoking it.

Have been using smoke for a few years. Did have medical marijuana card, but now recreational is legal in Washington I let is lapse. It helps me, especially at night for sleep. Did try the CBD oil and did not get good results. Whatever works for you is best.
