How many of you deal with dizziness or feeling off balance on a regular basis?
I've alway joked about my weaving all over the pavement by saying I'm a couple of drinks ahead of everyone else. I don't drink alcohol now because it would be so much more worse. Plus all the meds I'm taking it could really knock me sideways.
Nettiemae, thanks for sharing. I have checked my blood pressure often and I have low blood pressure as well. I do eat more often throughout the day and that does help. The dizzy exercises my therapist gave me help the most.
Please check your blood pressure when feeling this way. I have low blood pressure and up salt and it helps sometimes.
Hello Missa, This is a problem I deal with on a daily basis. It was pretty bad at first. The doctors did MRI's CT scans, and all kinds of tests. It wasn't vertigo. However, I found an amazing physical therapist that specializes in dizziness. She gave me some home exercises to do. I do them every morning and it works to reduce the symptoms and I no longer experience nausea. Now, most days I don't feel it, some days it's slight lightheadedness and on the really bad days I use a cane, just to keep from falling. I fell twice and hit my head once, so for me the cane is a good precaution.
I do feel dizzy. Off balance most of the time.I can hardly walk a straight line - especially when I am tired,.
