Members connected over experiencing vivid, bizarre, and often frightening dreams that disrupt their sleep, with many sharing that their dreams can continue across multiple sleep cycles or even consecutive nights. Several members described practical factors that might contribute, including medications (especially when doses are increased), stress, potential sleep disorders like narcolepsy or sleep apnea, past trauma, and the possibility that people with fibromyalgia spend more time in REM sleep due to fatigue. A recurring theme was the emotional toll of these dreams, from embarrassment over talking or crying out in sleep to fear of falling asleep altogether, balanced with reassurance from the community that they are not alone and that minds work through subconscious fears during sleep.

Yes totally. I think people with fibro spend more time in REM stage (dream state) sleep because of the fatigue. Nightmares due to anxiety or past traumas.

JesseFelfman I think you are going through a transmission time. Maybe afraid of what the future holds for you. Strange places but no injury so don't worry you are safe. Your mind is just trying to sort out your subconscious fears. Once it has, and it will the dreams will go. Our minds are wonderful computers that work while we sleep. They help us adapt to situations. Once it is sorted you will settle.

Good luck and God bless you and give you peace.
