Hey everyone I'm trying to find some hobbies in order to occupy the mind. Any advice on hobbies you guys have that don't require much physical activity?

I rotate hobbies to stay interested and so I can use different muscles. Scrapbooking is fun I like going through pictures it brings back memories. Card making keeps my mind busy. I've tried almost all needle arts but crocheting is my favorite. Once you get started and learn a few basic stitches you can start to make things, I really enjoy making items for others and seeing yarn turned into beautiful and useful things is very rewarding. Whatever you choose to do remember it's for fun and don't pressure yourself. I wish you the best and have fun

I consider yoga (mostly gentle and restorative types, beginner at most or else it’s too difficult for me now) and gentle water aerobics classes to be my “hobbies”. I enjoy the social parts and they are so good for me physically. The worst thing I can do is sit around a lot, so hobbies that require sitting long are no good for me. Hope this helps!

I have sewn and made jewelry for many years as my hands will permit. The one thing that has occupied me the most is doing genealogy. I not only have my own extensive family tree, but I also teach others how to do on-line research for the best results.
