Mine feel like they ache, and are being strangulated and almost feels like there are blood clots although I can’t be sure there are any. And then I feel a twitchy kind of pain but a little like a heartbeat. It’s horrible and scary. I don’t know when to take it as a warning for heart Attack or does Fibro feel this way.

Members connected over the frightening sensations of leg pain in fibromyalgia, describing similar experiences of aching, twitching, pulsing, and strangulation-like discomfort that can happen at rest or during activity, with many wondering if symptoms signal something more serious like a heart attack or blood clot. Several members shared that restless leg syndrome often accompanies fibromyalgia, with some finding relief through medications like ropinirole, cold water elbow immersion, or physiotherapy, while others emphasized the importance of ruling out deep vein thrombosis with a doctor, especially during pregnancy. A recurring theme was the emotional burden of not knowing whether pain is fibromyalgia or a medical emergency, with community members encouraging each other to get checked out when worried and to keep advocating for answers rather than accepting relentless pain as a new normal.

I experience this as well...my body goes through cycles where I will feel all over my body as if I'm going to have a heart attack but when I go to the er there is no sign. It really is hard to decipher what is fibro and what isn't but it is always best to get checked out. I hope you feel better soon!

Since you are pregnant I would mention this to your Dr. The Dr can always do a simple ultrasound on your legs to make sure you don't have DVT(deep vein thrombosis). However what you describe for symptoms are pretty much what is termed RLS (restless leg syndrome) which usually runs hand and hand with fibromyalgia patients. Again discuss this with your Dr. He/she should be able to answer your concerns. I hope my suggestion is helpful. Fibro Hugggggs ❣️

Most of my pain is my knee and calf all the time.

It can happen at any time, but it's likely fibro as well as restless legs
