I’ve read it can. Also, grinding your teeth can. Burning mouth is a mystery but clonazepam 1/2 tablet helped me get through it.

Candicid Forte (for yeast growth)/B12 and gum. I have intermittent burning mouth . That seems to provide some relief.

I usually try to rinse with a bit of warm salt water for a few days and it seems to help a bit.
