Has Anyone Been Taking Turmeric For Inflammation?

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I also have osteoarthritis and fibro plus a l9t of nerve damage. I started taking the turmeric back in July. It seems like it reduces that burning pain caused by imflammation really well. Then there seems to be a much deeper pain and loys of bone popping. So now I only take the turmeric about twice a week. That popping pain is worse than the burning pain.

So I am wondering if anyone else taking turmeric having similar symptoms?

Do you subscribe to WebMD? It’s a free site and it has excellent information in it. There recently was a focus on Tumeric and there are no definitive results at all up to this point to validate its use for so many things that people use it on. Maybe you could try going onto the site and typing in Tumeric and the article will come up if not try and Google it then

By the way, inflammation is a huge topic and much to learn about it. Know the foods that contribute to inflammation. Know the ones that help lessen it. Stress contributes to it as well. There are good sound presentations on many of these topics that can and do help us. Try the site WebMD. Over time it covers almost everything.

The burning pain and sharp shooting pain in my wrists are so very painful that I cringe to imagine the popping is even worse! Does anything help in regards to the popping??
