Small Bumps On My Finger Joints

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭
Davenport, FL

Does anyone have small bumps on their finger joints. I have been having alot of pain in my hands lately. Then i noticed a few days ago that i have a small bump on my middle joint in my pointer finger. Then yesterday i noticed that there are several on different fingers. I havent been to the doctor to see if he knows what they're from yet. I was just seeing if anyone here has them. I hope everyone has a low pain day. Hugs

Members discussed mysterious small, hard bumps appearing on their finger joints, with many sharing that they experience similar pea-sized nodules that cause significant pain when bumped or pressed. Several members identified these as likely Heberden's nodes associated with osteoarthritis, with practical suggestions including Voltaren gel, castor oil wraps, tensor gloves for support, ice packs, and seeking evaluation from a rheumatologist to rule out other conditions like gout or ganglion cysts. A recurring theme was the shared frustration of worsening hand pain and stiffness with age, the trial-and-error nature of finding relief, and the importance of getting a proper medical evaluation when new symptoms appear suddenly.

@A MyFibroTeam Member. Yes I hear fireworks every night but don't really see them from here but can see them if I drive about a mile.
No I don't have any bumps on my feet. Yet!!!.

Awe that’s too bad you can’t use Voltaren often. Maybe your doctor will prescribe you something. I used to get prescribed I think it was Zostrix? It made my skin burn so I stopped using it but maybe your doctor will know of something else? Plus pharmacies can sometimes put stuff together in a cream for you so I’ll keep my fingers crossed that your doctor can come up with something that will help you!
