I wish I had an answer for you but unfortunately the only other thing to do is have a hysterectomy if your not having anymore children. I smoke so that's why they did mine at 35. They say not to stay on birth control past 35 if you smoke. I never had any kids but I have plenty of nieces and nephews. (Some adopted ones too.) It went okay, thank you. I have to have an ultrasound to see what could be going on inside and now I have to call to find a time to give them some urine because I'm having some weird urination symptoms. I guess one good thing was she was able to see the strings to my IUD during my exam but it could still be causing the issues. I would love to try your drink but ginger tends to make me sick. I've never been able to eat or drink raw ginger but oddly enough I can drink gingerale, it makes no sense to me.

I have an appointment Friday so we will see how it goes, I'm sure she'll want an ultrasound to check on my cysts and the placement of the IUD but I'm hoping she'll hear me out about next steps.

I had a full hysterectomy 15+ yrs ago. I’m no help there. I did have fibroid cyst, it stopped it all.

I have medicaid too so i understand. I dont think its considered elective with endo. You just need the right doctor that thinks it will help you instead of dealing with the side effects of the iud. Maybe discuss it again with your gyn and see if she will change her mind. I hate telling anyone to have surgery but it took my pain from endo away for good. I know how horrible that pain is.
