I think it depends on the quality of the Cbd & also it really is an individual thing.
I have had great results with CBD Oil for anxiety but not for pain directly but then again easing my anxiety really helps ease my pain.
Yes some Marijuana strains work for sleep as do some Cbd.

Having fibro, sleep is one of the most essential things we need to heal.
I also have insomnia issues & when I take Vicodin for pain , that sometimes keeps me awake. Not sure why.
I can't imagine functioning getting 3 hrs of sleep.
If I don't get at least 7-8 hrs, I feel really bad.
I’ve had good luck with a mix of CBD and THC mix. Pain is still there but I’m able too soldier through it a lot easier. I take a higher THC at night and I find I actually get a good sleep and a 50/50 blend during the day and for me it really helps. A big con is I can’t (won’t) drive but for me the trade off of manageable pain versus driving is a no brainer. Good luck!
I use a balanced THC and CBD oil and I have noticed a lot of improvement. I can sit for about an hour and a half in the car at one time and when we make stops I’m still pretty much seized up but just walking around for 20 minutes I’m ready to go back to the car. I’m not as itchy when I take it and I’m finding my rash breakouts are less frequent. So I do get some relief. I hate that I have lost the freedom of driving but let’s face I lost that a long time ago. I can’t stretch or shift positions when I’m driving.
