Members strongly related to the experience of sudden dizziness and floor movement, identifying it as likely vertigo, a common symptom in fibromyalgia due to nerve dysfunction affecting the inner ear's balance signals to the brain. Several members recommended seeing a doctor for prescription medication like Serc or over-the-counter options like Dramamine or Bonine, with one member enthusiastically sharing that daily head and neck exercises completely eliminated both their vertigo and fibro fog. A recurring theme was the debilitating nature of vertigo attacks, the importance of ruling out other causes like low blood pressure, medication side effects, or sinus infections, and the reassurance that while terrifying, this symptom can be managed and may pass with time and proper treatment.

you will probably have to see a neurologist to comfirm but sounds like vertigo. i have positional vertigo and when it hits, puts down for the count till it passes. it has to be one of the most terrible things to experience. some dramamine or bonine (meclizine) should help in the meantime.

I would definitely say vertigo. Have someone take you to see the doctor or Er & get prescription med for it. I was given "Serc" but there's others. Vertigo can come back but I have posted some exercises on head/neck that my doctor taught me. See those 3 straight lines on top. Click that then type in exercises. Scroll down till you see LisaCabrey ask me @ SiuViv about exercises. It has to be done DAILY! It helped me got rid of vertigo & fibro fog ! Hope that will help you. My vertigo & fibro fog never returned after I started doing these exercises.

Yes it is. May be vertigo or could be your meds. Call your doctor and ask for advice

Could it be a sinus infection? With the pollen around here I get them pretty often.
