@A MyFibroTeam Member, if there isn't one in your area maybe you can start one. You just need to call restaurants and find out where you can meet. You want one that won't require everyone to purchase food since some people can't afford it. There will always be some who will purchase. We meet at sweet tomatoes the first Sunday of every month. One of the members is really good at getting discount coupons and so can help those who may not be able to afford it. You just need to decide when to hold it and then post it on meet up. People will eventually find you. We have a membership of around 200. You won't have that many every time because it depends on how people feel. We did have about 20 this month.

Not in the Denver area but i do know there are two fibro groups in Colorado. Im a member of the one in Colorado Springs since my husband was born n raised there and we travel there often enough that it was something i chose to join for the two of us (we both have fibro).

I live in Arizona and I am grateful that we do have a group here. It is very helpful to have people to talk things over with. Our group runs from 2 to 4:30 and the time just flies. There are a lot of great people. We share names of Drs, treatments and have some fun. I really look forward to going every month. It is extremely helpful.
