Sleeplessness/nightmares
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does anyone else suffer with severe sleeping problems? I can hardly sleep due to pain and then when i do get some sleep i suffer with the most vivid nightmares that i wake up in a sweat and have panic attacks, as i think the nightmares are real, i can also remember each one completely in the morning. Does anyone else have this, or is it just me? What do you take for sleeping and anxiety? I really need some suggestions as I've tried so many things.

by 5:30 am I was still awake so I just got up went down stairs sat with my dogs and then went to work. Some nights its just not worth trying so best to just get up get your coffee and go about the day. I am yawning and finding my ability to focus on my work slightly harder but tonight's another night and hopefully I can get some sleep tonight. Did you get a chance to get a good nights sleep without any crazy nightmares?

@ Sillygirlfun this is a sleep disorder called " sleep paralysis " . It happens not many times ,but when it happens you will never forget it!!!!! You cannot move or speak. ,,,,,I did think it was the evil one, devil , enemy whatever you want to call it . I was looking for a priest because I thought for sure I was possessed. I thought I needed an exorcism. I was calling my husband ,but no sound comes out. You cannot move while this " thing" invades your being ,at a very slow slow rate of movement. You think it last a very long time ,but it really last just a few seconds . It would be great to try and relax and bring yourself out of it ,but not possible for me. I am absolutely terrified and I remember all of the nightmare, when I wake up in the morning . I am a child of God and I serve only one King of Kings , Lord of Lords . this is a medical sleep disorder . You need to google it and you will get all your answers . I mentioned to google several times in my previous post ,so I would not get such a reply, my friend. Please google and study and you will learn all about it !!!!! 📝📝📝📝📝📝📝📝📝☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮I do believe on such a site as this one, it's very important to study a topic if you are not familiar with it , knowledge is power !!!!🌹🌹🌹🌹

I have this - sleep paralysis ,,,,the mind wakes up befor the body and I cannot move or talk and the nightmares are " real" ,,,the " shadow man" comes in my nightmares . If you google people see different things example "old lady wearing a hat. " . The body was made not to move ( for safety) ,rem sleep Google. ,,,I thought I had lost my mind and I came across this article describing my nightmares . I went under several sleep studies to try and stop this and I am on CPAC now ,,,,again it has something to do with Rem sleep . Now I am also on oxygen which helps me sleep much better . No more nightmares since machines. It's a sleep disorder , I don't talk about this much because it is so weird , however it is real ,,,,,,I was blaming my husband coming in my room touching my bed and my leg and stuff ,we googled it together and found it !!!!! 🙏đŸŧ🙏đŸŧ🙏đŸŧ🙏đŸŧ🙏đŸŧ🙏đŸŧ🙏đŸŧ🙏đŸŧ🙏đŸŧ🙏đŸŧ I could feel this " thing" breathing on me ,but could not see a face just a shadow !!! God I cannot believe I am typing this, I am not crazy my friends , this is real .....
