Members responded to a question about managing fibro fog with practical strategies including daily head and neck exercises that one member credited with eliminating their fog entirely, writing everything down immediately and setting phone alarms as reminders, and in severe cases working with doctors on medications like Namenda and Aricept to help with memory. Several members emphasized the importance of laughing at yourself when fog moments happen, sticking with familiar routines rather than learning new tasks when possible, and being upfront with others about limitations. A recurring theme was that consistency matters most, whether through daily exercises, written notes, or self-compassion, and that fibro fog affects everything from work tasks to driving safety and requires both practical tools and emotional grace.

Hello, Brian. It's Viv. I have gotten rid of my fibro fog. The easy simple head/neck exercises are listed on this site. Go to the Q&A section of the site. Type in exercises, scroll down till you see LisaCabrey ask me
@ SiuViv. They can be done lying in bed or sitting up. They have to be done DAILY.
Other exercises release the stiffness & improve blood circulation all over your body.
Good luck.

Once i learned to laugh at myself about the dreaded fog it got better. Writing things down or finding a good tracking app on your phone helps me.

write EVERYTHING down! I made a policy at work that if you don't let me write it down then don't complain to me if it doesn't get done. As or the other part of my life, I try to set alarms to remind me if I have to go somewhere and if I still forget i just tell them, oops Fibro Fog.
