Muscle/body Twitches
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

Hi had a new symptom for the last couple of months, not sure if it's linked to fibro or if it should be looked into? Started when falling asleep at night, twitches like ticks all over my body, limbs, head, muscles in back, pelvis basically all over. But does happen sometimes when just resting in general. Sometimes it can be so strong it rocks my whole body! Been through a lot of trauma/stress over last few months so not sure if it's to do with that/psychological or if it's a fibro symptom. I also get pins and needles down my legs into me feet start burning and throbbing pain. It's not just at night. It's most of the time for me. It's hard to ignore the pain. I also get the pain in my hands and my arms in my fingertips like there's needles prickling in me and it's very hard to text, write or anything. Does anybody else experienced this kind of pain?

@A MyFibroTeam Member, yes! This includes my elbows and shoulders as well, the throbbing in my feet is why I gave up walking all together, went for a mammogram and thought my bone was breaking when the nurse was adjusting my arm. No longer work because much of what I did required typing. Hope you are feeling less pain today ❀️😊 hugs πŸ€—

I feel that same feeling. It seems to get worse when I am stressed out.

Bet you get really bad pins and needles/numbness too?? Used to just get it when lying on my hand or whatever at night but now its just if my arms bent for a long time or at an angle! Funny one this one as its so visable whereas pretty much everything else is invisable x
