Thank you all for your replies i have now spoken to my dentist and we have agreeded that for anymore additional work needed to my teeth he will refer me to a dental surgeon who will be able to give far better medication for numbing aswell as sedation so i should be able to have treatment without pain fingers crossed for the future

I have a dentist who really works with me. I have nerves on the left side. Everytime she has had to do work I have had to have extra Novocain an addition meds. I made the mistake of doing to cavities at once. To long in the chair. Last week needed one cavity done. Dentist uses extra meds, I use a stress ball, sometimes they put oil on my temples. She goes slow and if I raise my hand she knows extra meds are needed.

I'm not sure what you are asking. Are you saying that the novacaine is not numbing your mouth at the dentist? I'm not sure what the condition is but I quit getting novacaine because I always had a bad reaction to it and found out I was allergic to caine mixes when I was in my 20s. Maybe Google "novacaine doesn't work for me" and see what comes up for it. I hope you figure it out.
