Reports of Holland & Barrett CBD haven't been too encouraging. Canavape, Love CBD, CBD Brothers are all reputable CBD suppliers with proven levels of high quality CBD and associated compounds.
Oh, it is legal in the UK :) !!! Canavape and CBD brothers are two highly reputable UK based companies that supply it :)
I have tried CBD and found it a good replacement for codeine. BUT later on I found that I should have paid more attention to the dosage. If you are going to use oil then dosage is really important - it could mean success with CBD and failure. There are CBD user groups on FB you can join full of kind people willing to share their experiences. I vaped it as I figured it was the most cost effective way of getting a maximum dose, before I learned about the importance of getting the initial dose right and building it up.
CBD certainly is legal in the uk, Holland and Barrett sell it now, it doesn’t have any thc in it so it’s legal. I found it helped a little, but it was the taste of the oil that put me off and capsules are too expensive. The balm is pretty good for localised pains though.
It helps me a whole lot. I am sensitive to THC, but It is such low dose it only bothers me a small bit. I am getting used to it now. I do have a medical marijuana card to purchase it, 33mg CBD to 4 THC per pill. About a dollar a pill. Standardized product is key, because I get a consistent dose. I only take a high CBD/low THC strain. I believe the key to the absorption and success of this product is due this particular oil, it has to include a small amount of THC to work. And it DOES work. I am 200 lbs and take 99 mg a day (3 pills) and that's 12 mg of THC. I take 3 pills in the morning and I am amazed with the difference when I run out. I also stay away from the nightshade vegetables and sugar. I own a hot tub and a sauna and use them both a LOT also for detox and pain relief. New diagnosis for me, and it has been a real joy to skip the screaming pain (at least til evening) with these pills. And, as a self taught herbalist, I'd rather take something natural that does no harm. The side effects of prescription drugs is enough to scare my pants off.
I have personally not had success with cbd oil that contains absolutely no THC. Although it's legal, it was hideously expensive and I found no help for this particular application. And... 3$ a day for effective natural medicine is certainly a better choice for me personally. :)
Hope that helps. I'm actually in a case study with University of Michigan at this time regarding this very subject, and I sure hope more information gets out about this soon.
