Do Your Symptoms Seem Like Multiple Sclerosis?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Although fibro is defined as not being MS I feel that they appear so a like.. For example the tiredness and twitching of the muscles... I am interested in your views,my physio says it is an autoimmune disease... Any help out there as to what category fibromyalgia fits in to please xxxx

Definitely similarities between the two as my neurologist had diagnosed me with MS until my MRI results showed no lesions.

They do mimic each other. I was initially tested for MS too.

Exactly, my girlfriend actually has ms and some of my symptoms are a replica of hers.

I actually got tested for all of the autoimmune diseases and my doctor was considering MS -- the early MS symptoms are very similar but you need to get an MRI to show lesions for a more definitive MS diagnosis
