I get severe twitching all over my body, and this is the reason my doctor was hesitant to prescribe anything for the pain. The worst twitching I get is generally in my shoulders and shoulder blades and it gets to the point that they twitch so much all over that I feel like my skin is vibrating. It's usually accompanied with pain but it makes me extra irritable. Does anyone else have these symptoms?

Twitching can be from stress and lack of sleep. I often get it too! It sucks. I don't know if yours is also from that but I think mine is. Here is what helps me: I make sure I am drinking water. Lots of water to be hydrated. I have a mist diffuser I put my favorite essential oils in (Ori use the one with the tea light under it I got at Michael's) . I sit on the couch with Hot /Warm wash cloth covering my face and eyes and close my eyes and relax. I imagine all my troubles are balloons including my pain and they float away into the beautiful blue sunny sky. I take deep breaths and try to relax the muscles around the eyes. And roll my eyes around gently on my head and it hurts! And I know my eyes are tense and stressed. They have fibro too! Lol They need tlc just like everything else. ππ
I have not verified this but was told by one doctor fibro can wrap around body. For me starts at my right shoulder into neck, to my left arm, around lower back, down my right leg. Doesn't happen all the time but does happen to me.
I get a crawling sensation on the L shoulder blade. This is the only area that this occurs in. I have had twitching in my R leg just above the knee. Not sure if either of these is connected to Fibromyalgia.
Yes, twitching is common for me for the last 2 years. I also get a buzzing sensation on occasion.
@A MyFibroTeam Member Two months ago, I started having strange vibration sensations. Mine usually happen in my hands and feet. Sometimes it runs right to my finger tips and toes. I've had muscle twitching on and off. The doctors are still trying to figure out what's going on with me too. The vibration for me almost feels like a buzzing/humming right under the skin and it literally makes me want to crawl out of my skin
