I was reading that they did a study on Fibro patients that show better results than any other drug currently approved to treat fibro. They used antiviral and anti-inflammatory drugs together. I think this is really recent, but the FDA is fast tracking it as a treatment option. It proves that fibro is a result of HHV (a super common usually dormant virus) reactivating in our bodies due to stress and other factors. Has anyone heard of this or tried this?
I have heard this theory before...that some believe it is a virus.
But I don't know...I do know that so many of us have had a lot of trauma, usually starting in early childhood...both emotional and physical traumas that seem to end up existing in our nervous system, and is then transferred from the nervous system throughout the entire body. And it seems that so many of us are Empaths; and we can subconsciously take on others' emotions too...and then overflow, just like the body responds to allergies.
(My Mom took me to an Allergist when I was a teenager, and that doctor explained allergies very well. He said that it is like a glass of water; some of us are exposed to more allergens, and once that glass of water gets full, it overflows, resulting in the Allergy).

Here is a link to one of the articles. If you google fibromyalgia and antivirals you will see a ton of articles on the studies that have been done.
I haven't heard of it but sounds interesting. And all the things Bluei said are common for fibro patients apply to me as well.
This is very interesting to me. My FM has gotten much worst since having to have back surgery. Then a couple if years ago i had to have my gallbladder removed. I then got pneumonia from being in the hospital and was in the ICU for 10 days. Since that my body can't regulate temperture. Any help would be much appriciated.
Thanks, will check it out.
