Hi, I am "retired" RN. I had chest pain daily for at least 15 years. Always having to deal with so many other diseases and symptoms, I just ignored it but drank soda to burp which gave some relief. I was always concerned with a patient having chest pain. I had very minor chest pain with mild palpitations but wrote mine off as anxiety, working 3-4 jobs all shifts with very little sleep. So ironically last year on Valentine's day as I was getting vitals taken prior to RFA my heart rate was 164, too fast to get pulse by nurse and myself. Sent by ambulance where stopped my heart with adenosine and returned to 88. Discharged, my DH and I went grocery shopping, farm store, pharmacy. It happened twice more so in November received a cardiac ablation and no problems since. Even with good assessments skills after 30 plus years as a nurse I missed what was going on all of those years. Have you notified your provider? Take good care. Kindly, Jude

Yes i do when i over do it, i get dizzy, beathless and i can hear my heart pounding in my head...feel like im going to die its horrible x

Last year I started having the same problem. One night it was a bit worse than usual and I was dizzy as if I had stood up to fast. I went to the hospital and it was a good thing I did as I was having a serious heart fibrillation. They had to stop my heart and restart it. Had my heart checked out and it's in great shape. I take Warfarin now to keep the blood thin as every once in a while I still get mild Fibrillations.

I was told an just read a post on pintrest that heart palpations is just another symptom of fibro.....

I too get a lot of palpitations. Doctors don't seem to be worried but put me on a small dose of betablocker. They still come and go. Must be the fibro as seems to be a common complaint on this site. But ye they are unpleasant and I feel quite faint at times with them.
