@A MyFibroTeam Member, I have noticed that there are some primary care physicians that are not that knowledgeable when it comes to the various symptoms of fibromyalgia and to the symptoms of arthritis. Rheumatoid is just one of the many different types of arthritis. I am glad you are going to see a rheumatologist.
Please let me know what you find out.

Hugs

@A MyFibroTeam Member, I am sorry it took me so long to reply to your message and I do thank you for responding to my question about Sjogren's.

I notice that I am cold-sensitive since developing Fibromyalgia. The Sjogren's is causing mild dryness of my eyes and mouth. But my voice and my skin seem more affected by the sjogren's.

I have had a CBC and mine is slightly low which is normal for me due to my RA. My understanding is that when you have rheumatoid arthritis there can be a low hemoglobin result that is not iron deficiency. At least that is what my rheumatologist said.

I hope you will let me know what you find out from the rheumy.💜💜

I have it. Diagnosed in 2012 along with several other things. I cannot tolerate extreme heat or cold below 20degrees. The dry mouth and itching is the worst for me. Not only is my mouth dry from the sjorgrens but add to that medicine and the sea bond i use on my lower teeth. I am as dry as the sahara dessert. but that also comes with all the pain and swollen joints that fibro exhibit. I use the systane ultra on my eyes. couldnt tolerate the restasis. and i stay away from acidic or salty food.

Yes. About 5 years ago I was diagnosed with Sjogrens. For me, I can't deal with the cold - weather or too much air conditioning. My eyes stay dry so I use Restasis. My hands tend to turn bluish if they get too cold. So far, I haven't had nothing much going on with it thank God.
