Are There Any Other Common Or Not So Common Conditions That Comes Along With Fibro?
I am in the process of ruling out an underlaying medical condition.
I was diagnosed with OA and DDD at the age of 18, and I have a hard time believing this is a primary diagnosis-especially since it's from the same doctors telling me "fibro is all in your head."
What has been your process with getting diagnosed?
Since it is your brain sending wrong signals to the nerves leading to your muscles...it is in your head LOL. I know what you mean though. It is also a gut disease so you can get IBS or IBS-D. You can have tinnitus (ringing in the ears) You need a doctor that understands this is real, then you will need a specialist as it progresses. That is a Rheumatologist.

Me Too! ☹
I have no idea what DDD is. But any doctor saying fibromyalgia is in your head needs to go back to medical school. Over 20+ years ago a neurologist did the trigger point test on me. He pushed on 18 pressure points located all over my body. I had more than 11 painful ones, so he told me I had fibromyalgia and that there wasn't any cure. I went looking for treatments, got diagnosed two more times, then eventually my pcp put me on Lyrica when that came out.
Go to a Rheumatologist, mine x ray my knees and gave me a blood test to rule out everything else first.
I Was Wondering If There Are Any Commonalities Between All Us Fibro Suffers.
Has Anyone Else Also Been Diagnosed With Raynauds Syndrome Along With Your Fibro?
