Please Does anyone in the morning wakes up with really puffy face and really dry eyes?. I wake up with a different face every morning. It can never be my real face .. is always puffy or REALLy puffy. I take care of what I eat , I do exercise, I take thyroid pills. And still being like that. Has somebody with fibromyalgia lived the same ?

I have a very similar problem. I had my thyroid out in 2013 because of all kinds of problems. I do also suffer from serious allergies, too. Because I'm the only one in my immediate family to suffer from these and have to take allergy shots, I wonder if that too is related to my fibromyalgia. I also have sensitivities to foods my family tolerates well. I have fluid and fat filled bags under my eyes, and the area all around my eyes is always puffy and swollen. And yes, my eyes get very dry, but I have allergy eye drops that help with that. A product called Alaway by Baush and Lomb has the stuff to clear the gunk out of one's eyes. It may slightly sting, but hold it in your eyes for a whole minute to let it work. One drop each eye and the little vial lasts a long time. It's OTC.

Omg this is so crazy!! I came on this site today to specifically ask a question about my eyes! I wake up in the morning and the area above my top eyelid is so puffy and swollen, I think it’s gonna fall right over my lid and blind me! Lol. Also, every single morning, I have like crust on my eyes like you get with pink eye, but not to that extent! Plus when I get up it’s like I’ve cried out the corners of my eyes and it’s left a crusty trail there!!
When I think back, I used to walk my dog everyday and my eyes would always run like I was walking against the wind!! I tried wearing sunglasses to block the wind but it didn’t matter, they still ran plus this was when there was no wind at all. Always worse in the winter too. I used to feel so stupid cause if I stopped to talk to someone, I’d get home and see these white trails down my face!!
Again, I’m so glad we have this site to ask our silly questions that we would think could not be connected to fibro, to only find out many of us share the same problem!! Thank you so much for asking this question and can’t wait to see other answers. I think I’ll still ask about the crusty part cause people may not read answers to your question and see my crusty answer (pun intended)! Lol

My face gets puffy and pale when I m in a flare. Also I m on thyroid med. Also and seems like my DR. Has to change the dose every 6 months to a year. My thyroid seems to go off balance and when that happens my face gets puffy from that as well. But not everyday. Hugs and Prayers
