No I wouldn’t if you keep looking for a doctor to help ,you will find one soon. Believe me when I tell you it has crossed my mind. But I know the Lord has a plan for me. The is so mainly things out there to help with the pain that none of us should have to put up with it.

I am an Advocate for Assisted Dying since it was first discussed way way back. I would never consider at this time Assisted Death or Suicide. I agree a person should have the right to decide how they die and when 'IF' they have a terminal illness 'Only'. This needs to be fully agreed with Family and Doctors.
Some days I cry with Pain some days I suffer depression but I would never try to kill myself! I still have a lot of living to do :) and Love my Hubby Family and Dogs :)

Absolutely not. No matter how much pain I was in, I have never been in a dark place to even consider that.
My life has made a complete 180 from a year and a half ago. For the better. No matter how bad things are, there is always a possibility you can get better. I did.
I will never judge anyone for how they feel and what they think is best for them, but for me, life is precious and sacred. It would never be an option. Love to all.

Yes I would. Some days I have had enough and feel like i dont want to live the rest of my life like this. But then i look as my children and grandchildren and know life is still worth living even on the worst days 😊

@A MyFibroTeam Member comfort measures are totally different then assisted suicide. You have to be in the last phases of actually dying from a terminal illness such as cancer or COPD. Then and only then will a doctor at the hospital or at hospice give the ok to give larger amounts of morphine then usual. People in those situations have usually already lost the ability to open their eyes and communicate.
I have experienced this with at least 100 of my patients in the last 14 years. My specialty in nursing was in psychiatry and end-of-life. So I know this to be true.
It breaks my heart to hear these stories. Especially now since I am a suicide hotline volunteer.
But I understand the pain. I also have hope and faith.
