Although I agree it's very hard to keep friendships with people that don't have experience with illnesses, it does weed out the shit friends. And to be honest, I'm better off without them.

Ive lost loads of friends when I couldnt work anymore. Am/was an RN, heartbreakding it was something I loved to do, nursing. Its like I was left all alone, no one wants to hang with someone who is always in pain. Oh well, their loss I guess...
