Members shared mixed experiences with injections for sciatica pain, with several reporting dramatic relief lasting anywhere from six weeks to seven months, while others found the shots painful and ineffective, emphasizing that results vary widely from person to person. Many members offered alternative approaches that had worked for them, including acupuncture, aqua fitness, specific stretching exercises, topical herbal solutions like Soothanol X2, and medications such as Toradol and Gabapentin. A recurring theme was the importance of persistence in finding what works for your individual body, whether through injections, physical therapy, or a combination of treatments, along with emotional support and faith to cope with the daily challenges of chronic pain.

I got a Tordol injection yesterday it has helped. I am also increasing Gabapentin. Thursday I have to go for another consultation and then get a nerve injection to see if that is where we can find the actual place of pain that I believe is in my hips. Surgery has been an option for several years but there is no guarantee.

My sister says we don't have to have Fibromyalgia just ask God to heal us. That God has made it so that all of his children that follow him will be well and if something happens and they are not well. They just have to believe and ask to be helped. Because Jesus is complete and well and if we follow him we will be well. Jesus doesn't want us to be ill. <3

My mother has those injections for her sciatica and it’s unbelievable the pain is gone in one day and it lasts 3 months,it’s an injection in the nerve via camera , I don’t know if it’s what you talk about?
I suffer from sciatica and have good results with acupuncture,my doctor doesn’t perform those injections but I am thinking of going to see the same doctor as my mom,it’s a pain that goes trough you so awful it almost makes me sick, good luck ❤️❤️❤️

Lenna is right. I have had the Epidural shots and they sure do work. I have mine done under IV Sedation. I went from severe pain to no pain at all. It generally lasts at least two solid months. It is worth the try.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY: Be still and know that I am God.
