I live in iowa now since june of last year and i can say this is the worst healthcare that i have ever received in almost 4 years of having fibromyalgia. I am so frustrated with all of the ohone calls that j havento make because referrals are supposedly sent then to find iut they arent. Another specialist told me last week they would call me back that day or the next and it never happened. So i called today and was told i will get a call when they are done doing triage in my chart... Never heard of this before. Then got into it with my gastroenterologist office, the nurse of my dr, who is making me feel like i am an unwanted patient so i am making a complaint against her. Then i get a call saying that dr will finally see me this week. The care in iowa is nothing like what i received in Illinois and NY

I know our doctors just are not what they used to be. I wish they felt our pain for 24 hours so they could have a little more sympathy and interest in helping us. Good luck and let us know if yiu have any luck finding a good doctor.

So far they are sticking with my diagnosis. Its just impossible to get answers.

I have felt the same thing since i been here and you will find that if you had a diagnosis back in the state you came from you will no longer have that diagnosis

A little background the straw the camels back is the fact i at 4 or 5 months of itching tearing holes in my skin and doctor has decided its bug bites bug bites don't make skin turn purple itch and splotchy red spots despite any treatment. I kinda done with the whole lot . This is on top of refusing to treat insomnia and drymouth that causes a sore throat. A rhuetmologist who told me i not worth treating because I don't have lupus and leaving some diagnostic decisions to an x ray tech. Also a comment that i should stay on a medication to steady my mood kike i was mental or something Yes I am done with my doctor and care team
