Does Anyones Brain Gets Stuck?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I don't think I have the fog I hear described, but I do feel like my brain will get stuck at times in a train of thought that I have trouble getting out of. Kinda like hearing a song on the radio and then humming it all day long, even though you don't particularly like the song. Does anyone else experience this?

@A MyFibroTeam Member this happens to me all the time! I hate it when it happens at night because there is not a switch to turn it off and I will be aware for hours on end, thoroughly exhausted yet the brain is stuck in overdrive!!! You are not alone!!! Unfortunately I get the brain fog too! There are events and things I just totally space out for no reason in particular. Drives me batty! Hugs to you

Sabrina1990, youd know if a brain fog hit you. It feels like youve been drugged or your really drunk. No missing that issue. I pray it doesnt happen to you. How long have you had fibro, may I ask?

All the time. It is the fibro brain fog. You can space things out or just get stuck on something. My brain even does this when I am supposed to be sleeping. Trust me when I say that I am no mathematician, but sometimes when I think I am sleeping, my brain is actually doing calculations. . .over and over and over again. It's like its not right so scratch that and start again. . . .and again. . . .and again. It is totally frustrating and needless to say I don't get a restful sleep that night. During the day I can be stuck on something or just completely space it out. Welcome to Fibro Brain Fog. . . .You are not alone. We all fight it at one time or another. Just keep hanging in there.m

@A MyFibroTeam Member .. I'm also very dropsy! & lately my perception is off.. Not judging gaps in doorways etc and knocking my arms on the door frame or banging my head when getting into the car ... Something I've done a million times!!! So my brain knows how low to duck my head!!!!!!! I feel like I'm staggering and struggle to walk in a straight line!!! I've also been known to drive completely in the wrong direction!!! To somewhere I drive to a lot.. Ahhh man it's poo!!!!!
