The more that is learned about fibromyalgia and is still learning. Fibromyalgia has effected me severely mentally and I have been seeing a therapist for 8years now. I honestly don't think I would have made it this far without them. I also strongly agree that you should request to see a pain specialist as well.. You will be in my prayers. I believe all sufferers can benefit from seeing a psychiatrist. I had counselling for 8months before seeing specialists and doing cbt. For me it helps you deal with whats happening to us and gives us strength to carry on. Realising that its ok to be upset and its a normal process to feeling happy/ok again. Hope this helps
