Pregablin

Does anyone take pregablin? If so, have you gained weight taking it?
I’m on the highest dose (300) and I take it 2 times a day. When my doctor upped my meds thats when I noticed my weight went straight up and can’t seem to get it back down.

I don't think anything helps the pain I've been on amytripilne cellcocoxix gabapentin pregablin sertilne ibrufon gel other tablets can't remember and injection nothing seems to help but some of them leave you off your face so it sometimes hides pain a bit

I had gabapentin and on pregablin now but don't see any difference none seem to do anything

Perhaps you could ask your doctor if he can put you on low dose naltrexone. Some people respond quickly but others like myself take months (normally around 3 to 4 months). I've got my life back so I try to let others know that this is an option and it has very low side effects. Gabapenten and pregabalin turned me literally into a drooling idiot. I couldn't think on the stuff and normally I have quite a dry mouth and at night I found I was drooling. It didn't help me much. I'm finding I'm losing weight on LDN slowly but surely - one's appetite seems not so voracious and I normally have quite a sweet tooth and thankfully that is going away as that would get me in trouble. Also it seems that lately I can only tolerate things that are very lightly salted. It has seemed to attune my body to the bad food in the last month..

That is generic Lyrica right? It has been known for weight gain. Many people on here have said that they gained weight on it. I have never tried it for that reason. Unfortunately most meds cause weight gain. Lucky us. Lol

@A MyFibroTeam Member I can’t tell if it helps or not but I’m going to ask my doctor next week to upp my RLS tablets as my legs and left arm is so restless at night. I know them tablets help but for some reason i’ve become more restless
