Ive always been able to fall asleep and stay asleep but once I started taking Tizanidine this week for muscle spasms I keep waking up in the middle of the night. When I first take it I am dead asleep for 4-8 hours, then I wake up, am wide awake and can’t go back to sleep. Does anyone else have this problem?
I’ve been on tizanadine for years and never sleep all night. I’ve never attributed it to the medication though. It is the only way I can relax enough to get to sleep in the first place. May be interesting to stop it awhile and see if my sleep improves! I’m going to look up side effects and see if anything like that is mentioned.
Definitely. Sleep walking-DRIVING when combined with Ambien. Happened to me. Loooong story. My bottle says Do Not Drive on it now.
My doctor is sympathetic but bit of a pessimist as far as treatment goes but he is a big believer in the anxiety and depression medication helping with mood.
My tablet i take is also prescribed to help with sleep and is called Mirtazapine. It knocks you out first few weeks but after about 3 you level out xxx
So I looked up side effects to the medication and sleep disturbances WAS listed!
This is happening to me right now! I took 2mg around 8:30, slept hard til 12:45 and have been wide awake since.
