Members shared a wide range of strategies for managing the prickling, itching sensations from clothing and burning feet commonly experienced with fibromyalgia, with the most frequently mentioned approaches being switching to 100% cotton or soft fabrics, removing clothing tags, using fragrance-free detergents like Tide Free, and avoiding fabric softeners. Several members described finding relief through apple cider vinegar rinses after showering, Epsom salt foot soaks, cooling lotions kept in the refrigerator like Vanicream, medications such as gabapentin and tramadol, and staying well-hydrated throughout the day. A recurring theme was the need for constant experimentation and personalization, with members emphasizing that reducing chemical exposure, layering soft clothing like Cuddle Duds, and managing stress and anxiety can all help ease the relentless discomfort of fibromyalgia-related nerve sensitivities.

Yes, just like @A MyFibroTeam Member, I pour apple cider vinegar in a cup of water and all over me right after my shower. It helps with the PH levels of the skin and.....helps with hair loss if anyone is suffering from it. Good point to bring up! I also noticed my skin feels great when I soak in ACV and Himilayian salt once a week. :) I find that it really does work with the inflammation and itchiness. :)

An inch of apple cider vinegar in a very large glass. Fill the rest of the glass with water and pour over your body after a shower or bath.

Yes, just add like 2 tblspoons in a cup of warm water. Rinse in after shampoo and conditioner. The PH balance and nutrients help immensely. 🙂

@A MyFibroTeam Member just rinse your hair with it in the shower. Makes your hair feel soft too.

Sounds silly, but the only thing that seems to help me a little is drinking extra water. Because it’s internal, nothing topical helps. Always drink water & stay hydrated! Anxiety/stress makes it worse & cold weather for me. I hope you find some relief soon🦋💜🦋, Deb
