Members connected over the shared experience of arms going numb while simultaneously feeling pain, with many describing dropping things, struggling to hold everyday objects like phones, and experiencing symptoms that worsen on the left side or when cold. Several members shared potential causes and helpful strategies, including carpal tunnel testing through EMG, physical therapy for relief, gentle exercises like wall walks and shoulder circles, seated yoga for neck pain, and using hot tubs or massage for temporary comfort. A recurring theme was the frustration of living with these unpredictable symptoms at relatively young ages, the challenge of distinguishing between fibromyalgia, nerve issues, or circulation problems, and the emotional toll of feeling much older than one's actual years.
