Probably nothing to do with fibromyalgia but I keep biting the corners of my mouth. It's driving me mad and making them sore.

Any ideas why?

Any ideas how I can stop?

Thanks

Members connected over the frustrating habit of biting the insides of their mouths and cheeks, often to the point of soreness or bleeding, with many attributing it to stress, anxiety, or an unconscious habit rather than fibromyalgia itself. Several members shared practical strategies that helped them, including using teething gel or cold sore treatments to reduce swelling and numb pain, sucking on sugar-free candies to keep the mouth occupied, eating more slowly, and getting a custom mouth guard from a dentist for nighttime grinding. A recurring theme was the comfort in knowing they were not alone in this painful habit and the encouragement to address underlying anxiety while trying topical remedies for relief.

At Walmart they have stuff that works great it's for cold sore. I don't know the name of it. It's by the toothpaste.

The gel worked really well. Its like baby teething gel and reduces the swelling and numbs the pain too. I still have small lumps but going down x
