A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Getting desperate...my abdominal pain is getting worse and nausea, bloating, loss of appetite, the point I'm hardly eating. My blood work is normal so there's no infection of some sort I'm curios if it's another medical condition or just my fibromyalgia getting worse. Iv had abdominal pain for months on end but it's been very bad the past 5 weeks I'm loosing weight as I can't eat properly as everything makes me feel sick. Anyone else? No, I’ve never heard what you’re describing as a Fibro symptom from anyone. I’ve had Fibro for a long time.......go to Gastro Doc for help. My Gallbladder presented itself with bruise like pain under my ribs then went straight into what I would imagine a heart attack would feel like (stones were passing through). Only other thing I can think of may be appendix, however the nausea and pain come and go with that. I would def consider seeing a Gastroenterologist as soon as possible.

I'm sorry you are so uncomfortable with the ibs. It's part of the fibro. I've been on all sorts of meds. I don't anymore.when i have no appetite i eat popsicles and soup. I used to suffer everyday. Badly! Now it flares once a day. I have cramping and gas but i can use the bathroom. I do drink apple cider vinegar every morning. Maybe that's what's helping. I don't know. I hope the ibs settles down for you. It can be troublesome. God bless😇

@A MyFibroTeam Member - is there any chance that you might be pregnant? I had the problems you are having and found out - - after experimental surgery - - that I had a tubal pregnancy. If there is a chance - -PLEASE see a doctor.

Yes this is what I’ve been going though with my stomach. I’ve lost about 40 pounds and I can hardly eat because it makes me sick . A friend told me about this symptom but I couldn’t believe it. This explains a lot.
