Members overwhelmingly confirmed experiencing shortness of breath and difficulty breathing while walking with fibromyalgia, describing sensations of rapid heartbeat, feeling like they're going to pass out, and getting winded from minimal activity like walking to the kitchen. Several members shared that the severity often varies with flare days versus good days, with some attributing it partly to deconditioning from limited physical activity, medications, or coexisting conditions like asthma, while emphasizing the importance of getting symptoms checked by a doctor to rule out other causes. A recurring theme was the physical and emotional toll of feeling out of breath so easily, met with understanding and encouragement to pace activities, rest as needed, and stay hydrated during gentle exercise.

On my flair days I get winded easy, but on good days not as bad... I know I need the exercise, so I just take it slow and drink lots of water... I walk at the local park, because they have lots of benches to rest on as needed... Hope I helped! (((Hugs)))

I kinda wanna say yes!!! But almost contribute to my weight and of course lack of being able to do physical activity! My daughter always mentions how I breathe so heavy like a did a marathon and I only went to the kitchen!!! So it could be! Or it could be medication!! Still best to get it checked out!! Don't be like me and ignore it!!! I hate doctors so I don't go for such things as this cause I hate their responses to what I'm going through!!! Sorry I did not really answer your question! Gentle hugs to you!!
