Does anybody have dizzy spells? Is it stress related or a symptom of fibromyalgia?

@A MyFibroTeam Member. Hi, my friend. Have you gone to see a vertigo doctor ? It is a part of fibromyalgia.
I was taught by a vertigo doctor to do head exercises when I wake up because our head had been not moving while we sleep therefore the blood on our neck & head might be just staying there causing this dizzy spell & our fibro fog. There is a pill prescription for the dizziness. You have to be careful as you might hurt yourself if you fall down.
Here are the head exercises, they are so simple, but I'm telling you it works. I don't have my fibro fog anymore & my vertigo had not returned at all.
Here's what you do. Lying in bed (with your eyes open or closed), head in pillow, turn slowly to the left, hold, count 1,2,3,4,5. Slowly go back to the middle. Turn head to the right, hold, count 1,2,3,4,5. Do both sides 5-10 times daily.
Second head exercise : turn head slowly to the left, tilt down almost touching your left shoulder, hold, count 1,2,3,4,5. Go back to middle. Turn head to right, tilt head almost touching your right shoulder, hold, count 1,2,3,4,5. Do second exercise both sides also 5-10 times daily.
You have to do both exercise 1 & 2 daily for two months. You'll see that your head will be more focus. There's 2 more simple head exercise to do after two months.
But I would suggest you see a vertigo doctor first before you do any of these head exercises.
When you are not dizzy anymore , then you can do these which will definitely help with fibromyalgia fog & prevent vertigo from occurring again.
Take care. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

I have spells called vertigo. Medicine can cause vertigo and dizziness but I read it is related to fibro. It is also caused by the inner ear. I do Epley Maneuver they help mine. You can look them up on you tube.

I'll have you know I do not have dizzy spells. somethings the walls need leaning on to make sure they are straight, furniture needs holding onto to make sure it stays where I put it, and so on.
Shoot, one time it happened with a person trying to pass me so I just said, excuse me, next dance is you if you ask nicely.
but get dizxy? why not a bit😩

Both. I've been standing in front of somebody and Elsa and I reach out to make sure that wall was solid there or I'll lean up against it just so the wall has some support for it you know how those walls move around well I leaned against mine sometimes just to make sure it's settled and that's how I explain it when I get dizzy spell I just looked at my friend as I hope the wall moved have to make sure it's still. I've learned to make jokes out of stuff so other people don't get stressed out and so they learn that there's another side to fibro it's not all sadness and tears and depression and anger. I have an off-the-wall sense of humor and I use it not just for me but for them it also opens up the door to help me teach them and help them feel comfortable asking me about how I live with it
