My Rheumatologist believes they go hand and hand in some people! I was diagnosed with Fibro in May and after having an EMG on both legs in July was diagnosed with Peripheral Neuropathy! My Dr claims symptoms for both are very similar in regards to burning, shooting pain and general discomfort ..however in PN it is typically localized to the hands, arms, feet and legs and doesn't really cause brain fog and fatigue like Fibro symptoms do!
