Always wanting or expecting you to do it all. You're there for them but when you need them it's turned into an its all about you. They see I can hardly move and how much pain I'm in but still they have me do everything.

Members deeply connected over the pain of feeling unsupported by family who expect them to do everything despite visible suffering, with many sharing experiences of being called selfish, lazy, or dramatic when they try to set boundaries or say no. Several members described cutting ties with toxic family members, including parents and siblings, as a necessary step to reduce stress and protect their health, noting that eliminating drama led to fewer flares and a more peaceful life. A recurring theme was the heartbreak of watching young children try to help or witness their parent's pain, the guilt of not being able to do what they once could, and the importance of standing firm, educating loved ones about fibromyalgia, and prioritizing self-care even when it feels selfish.

@A MyFibroTeam Member you are to funny my husband says when he retires where moving. Or we make elaborate plans if we won the lottery, pipe dreams, then Sara, she's 9 also has ADHD and GAD she doesn't like change. We had to stop because she broke down crying my poor baby girl she's seen and been through way to much for her age. As far as my drama besides listening to me go on about it she hasn't come around. Only reason I hear from her now is she wants money, wants me to go and talk with the housing department because I'm good at that kind of stuff, to me that is saying I don't want to deal with it, you can. This is the first time I've felt his of feeling about my sister. 3yrs apart but acted like twins, I know it won't ever be the same. I try to help even though I don't do anything for her she do anything. It's nice having someone to relate with even if you are 1yrs younger you're 26 rigth?. No friends, except here and a cpl on Facebook I talk to on messanger. I'm picky choosing close friends because of people back stabbing and using things you've confided in against you. The cpl I message in messenger we clicked no judgement, always there when you need to talk and understand ad they also a chronic illness. You're awesome glad we met!! πŸ‘€πŸ‘’πŸ‘—πŸ›πŸ‘’my equivalent of our past days shopping and wearing clothes like that again. Hey we can shop together on here LOL!

@A MyFibroTeam Member if I were closer I'd let ya! πŸ˜‚
I'd say you have it worse, honestly. I'm used to it and often prefer it just because of all the trouble it saves me. I care too much so the less people around to trample on me the better πŸ˜‚
Woe is me days have to happen eventually otherwise we'd explode πŸŒ‹ and that isn't a good look for anyone lol
Like I told my husband yesterday, I have to let it out now cause I don't have room inside for all this added pressure!
Hey, moving might help, ya never know. I'm the same way, anytime life gets ridiculous my first thought is to pack up, sell the house and run lol. I will one day, I'm sure, because as the quote goes "there are three solutions to every problem: accept it, change it, leave it. If you can't accept it, change it. If you can't change it, leave it." I try to adhere to that to protect what little sanity I have left πŸ˜‚

Right now I wish I could pick up and move to another state as far away as possible. Just the three of us. Husband, daughter and myself. Somehow I don't think that would help much either. Guess I'm having a woe is me day. πŸ™ I'm sorry you don't have anyone close. I might complain but I couldn't begin to imagine how you feel. @A MyFibroTeam Member if you were closer id adopt you into my family. XOXO

I don't have people that close to me so I don't have the exact same issue as y'all but I can definitely sympathize 😞
