What The Health? What The...

I will be watching this documentary on Netflix; however, I wish people would stop telling me that I need to watch it. They are like, if anybody needs to watch it, I do😩 Really? These same people barely check on me and never ask me about fibromyalgia and how I deal with it currently. Have you experienced this?

Members rallied around someone frustrated by acquaintances pushing a Netflix documentary without truly understanding their fibromyalgia journey, validating the painful reality that people often lose interest in chronic illness over time while those living with fibro truly get it. Several members shared advice on maintaining perspective, including recognizing who genuinely shows up versus who doesn't, remembering that fibromyalgia is an invisible illness even loved ones struggle to comprehend, and approaching health documentaries with a critical eye since advocacy often has industry agendas behind it. A recurring theme was the importance of self-compassion, making dietary changes that work for your own body without external pressure, and leaning on the fibromyalgia community for the understanding and support that others may fail to provide.

@A MyFibroTeam Member, while watching that documentary, just remember when when you see similar documentaries like this, it helps to know who's behind it. Example: Drugs are good! Usually from Big Pharma. Tobacco is not so bad! Usually Big Tobacco. Meat and dairy are bad! Usually Big A (agriculture).
Yes plant based foods are great and we should incorporate them into our diets. But we can also eat meat and dairy as part of a healthy diet
Eating healthy is a great way to treat your fibro in a natural way. You don't need pressure from friends and family to try and convince you to be a vegan. Welcome to" What the Health", because that's what it's about!
Nothing against vegan's at all. Just not for me.
Pop some popcorn and wear comfy jammies.. Let me know what you think.

People dont understand how to understand. (If that made sense) I have noticed that after a certain point they just don't care anymore. It got old to them so they don't find it necessary to ask how you are. But, the people with fibro, the people on here understand and care because its a struggle to function everyday! Here for you! And will add to my team! Stay strong fellow fighter! ❤😃

You find out who your friends are, have a look at the ones that are treating you differently, before hand i bet you were there for them listening to there problems all the time. Just remember it's there problem not yours, just cherish your good friends.
