@JackieHolmesThatwell- Same with me. When My blood test came back it showed Fibro and Lupus. It can also detect Lyme Disease, Osteoarthritis, etc. At one time the Blood Tests did not show anything. Now it shows different autoimmune dieeases.

@A MyFibroTeam Member Strange, enough it does I had a flare and I got through it and I went to see my Dr. after the flare and I told her that I was just getting over the flare. She ordered blood tests and when she called me in to get the results she said that my blood was showing inflammation.

I. Sure what you're asking but if testing for Fibromalgia, Drs. will do blood work to check your what's called SED Rate. These are Numbers determining how high your inflammation # is. I was told by my Rhumetologist that it needs to be at least 50 before dr will see you. That was at the Rhumetolgist Clinic I was sent too. I was diagnosed in 2014 my first # was 33 but I was hurting VERY bad but my Dr. couldn't get me in to see my Rhumetolgist simply because my # was low( didn't matter how bad I hurt they wouldn't see me!) I kept going back and # kept climbing. About the 3rd test it was 46 so my Doc was able to get me in. When I got to my Rhumetolgist in another town from where I lived, they did same test and it was 66!!!! That was only 2 days from last test.... Made me wonder if the #'s had been wrong all along cause I was in severe pain!!! Hope this helps you. If you are hurting really bad and you are told your SED Rate number is low, I would advise getting a second opinion! I wish I had.
