I have issues with humid hot weather. I feel like I'm walking through mud. It's a struggle to walk. Does anyone deal with this with their fibromyalgia?

Members overwhelmingly confirmed that hot, humid weather significantly worsens fibromyalgia symptoms, describing the sensation as walking through mud, feeling unable to move, and experiencing intensified pain that leaves them housebound or confined to the couch. Several members shared that while all weather extremes (cold, rain, humidity, barometric pressure changes) can trigger flares, hot humidity feels particularly debilitating, with one member noting they had to leave a job after just one month due to swelling caused by humid conditions. Practical strategies included using cooling towels that drop body temperature by about 30 degrees, staying indoors with air conditioning (though some found AC painful on legs and feet), and recognizing that there may be no perfect weather day for managing fibromyalgia.

All weather bothers me. Humidity, cold, rain. Still dont no what is worst. Its always a different feeling everyday. Low humidity and nice weather you would think is good, but then depends on dew points. And pressure. Always something. No perfect day for us. Hugs and prayers to everyone.

Humidity makes tissues swell - I had a huge job offer in Florida - lasted one month and got the heck out
